The KM is one of my favorite Pentaxes: it handles exactly like the K1000 (which is a little better than the upscale KX, and a lot better than the later MX), but it has depth-of-field preview (which no SLR should be without) and a self timer. They're not nearly as common as K1000s but are often priced lower when you do find them.
